In September 2023, the Fir Foundation helped contribute to a $25,000 loan over 24 months for Posie Pots. Here’s what founder Kay Wells has to say about the proceeds of the loan:

“We plan to use 40% of the funding to hire new employees, assist with advertising, marketing, PR, and promotions. We plan to use 40% of the loan to assist with the supplies, equipment, inventory, and tooling to expand our production line. We will use 20% of the loan to enhance our mobile application software system.

We will use the funding to assist with the tool and mold die for our long term goals. We plan to contract and hire technical and support services to assist with Posie Pots short term and long term goals. We will support out new hires with competitive salaries and employee benefits.”
