In February 2024, the Fir Foundation helped contribute to a $13,000 loan over 36 months for 11 Eleven. Here’s what founder Sussa Goins has to say about the proceeds of the loan:

“I will be using this loan for the following purposes:

Buying Equipment: We will be purchasing additional equipment to expand our capacity as we serve more customers. This will primarily be a second oven and a mixer to increase our productivity. This will immediately double our production and it is the enabler that will allow us to accept more accounts.

Marketing: This will include two components. First, we will hire a marketing expert to create a marketing plan, including a more cogent message of our brand that highlights the key value points it brings to our customers. Second, we will spend on social media ads.

Purchasing Inventory: In order to adjust our process to become more coordinated, I want to build up more of a stock of the most popular products we sell. This will improve the flow of our work and our operations generally. I will need to buy these product sin bulk, which will reduce the costs of our products and increase profitability.”
